Loving our new Verdin post clock! See the details of our Howard Replica/Seth Thomas II on the next page. GM LETTER T here’s been a different feeling around the Club this summer — one that’s hard to describe until you see golfers back on the course, carts lined up outside the Golf Shop, and members once again on the first tee. After months of planning, construction, grow-in and patience, reopening the Golf Course was a major milestone for CCL, and this issue of LOOK captures many of the stories, people, and moments that helped bring it all together. You’ll find a closer look at Hole 13 and the return of one of the most recognizable views on the property, conversations with the team behind the renovation, and some of the history that shaped the course long before this latest chapter began. We also highlight a few people who continue to make the Club special every day — from Al’s return to the Golf Operation, to the fun occurring on the tennis courts, to the staff and traditions that keep the Club moving year-round. One thing that became especially clear over the last year is that even while the course was closed, the Club never slowed down. Dining rooms stayed full, courts stayed busy, events carried on, and Members continued finding reasons to be at the Club. That says a lot about the strength of CCL and the people behind it. Now that the course is open and Members are finally experiencing the finished product firsthand, there’s a real appreciation for how much work, detail, and care went into every part of the project. We’re incredibly proud of how it has come together and excited for this next chapter of CCL. After everything that went into bringing this project to life, we can confidently say it was worth the wait. Tom McKitterick GM/CEO 4
